Something everyone can agree on in this whole "New Haven Firefighter Scandal"

Sometimes the best letters to the editors are the simplest. So often in all of the detail-cramming and opinion-shoving in our media people forget the big picture, and it takes someone from “Anywhere, USA” speaking up to remind us. This is one from yesterday’s New York Times.

“…When my house is on fire I want the best firefighter, and I don’t care what color he or she is.”
